I read the sample and thought the book seemed pretty good. Halfway through the book I purchased the set. Then suddenly, there is the dramatic break-up and the end is the reconciliation and leads into the next book. Each book follows the same pattern. Oddly, couples being completely adult and then suddenly unable to use their brain, is not a great love, in my opinion. Disappointed that I did not read the book all the way through before I purchased them and disappointed that each book of the series goes through the dramatic break-up/make up.
